After the end of the game, the “yellow and black” midfielder Marko Sapuga commented on the performance of his own team.

“We didn’t have the right finish in many episodes, because we created enough chances to get points in this match. I think the team was very unlucky – the ball just didn’t go in the net.

In the first half, Rukh completely controlled the game, and Kryvbas almost scored after their first attack. Maybe there was not enough concentration in the defense in this episode. If we had realized at least one of our opportunities before that, in particular when Kluiver hit the post, the match could have gone according to a completely different scenario.

Of course, when we managed to score and reduce the deficit, the team got a boost of energy and wanted to fight back, considering that it was a home match and we had the fans supporting us.

Babukar Faal could have scored a double, but did not convert the moment at the end of the game. It is a pity that we could not play at least a draw, but at times we could count on a victory.

We need to draw the right conclusions after this match and analyze our mistakes. I hope we will have better luck in the next games,” said the Ukrainian performer.

In the next round, Rukh in Lviv is expecting an away derby against Carpathians.
