The legendary player and coach of the Lviv club died at the age of 92.

Yuriy Fedorovich was born on February 5, 1934 in Perechyn in Transcarpathia. He defended the Carpathian gates in the club’s debut match – April 21, 1963 against the Gomel Lokomotiv (1-0). In total, he spent 77 matches for the Lviv team and remains the oldest football player in the history of the club.
After his career at the end of 1966, the Susla joined the Carpathian coaching staff, with whom the USSR won. Subsequently, he worked as a coach of the Carpathian SDUSHOR training group, where he brought up a whole galaxy of Ukrainian goalkeeper, including Bogdan Shust, Andriy Tlumak, Vitaliy Postransky, Bogdan Kohut and Roman Misak.
The funeral memorial service will take place on Wednesday, October 8, at 12:00 in St. Anthony of Padua in Lviv.
