As part of preparation for the final part of the Euro-2026 championship, the Futsal national team held the first of two planned friendly matches against Lithuania. The match took place on September 23 in the city of Jonava and ended with a confident victory for Ukrainians with a score of 7: 0.

“Blue and yellow” started playing with a powerful press and already opened the score for 33 second-Vladislav Perveev was distinguished. During the first minutes, he made a hat trick, scoring three goals (1, 3 and 11 minutes). Another goal was held by Rostislav Semenchenko before the break, who struck the standard.

After the break, the team under the direction of Alexander Kosenko did not lower the pace. In the 24th minute, Artem Farenyuk scored the fifth goal, and later the score of Nazar Shved (30 minutes) and Marian Masievich (39 minutes) were added to the account. Summary of the match – 7: 0 in favor of Ukraine.

Recall that the final tournament of the European Futsal Championship will be held from January 20 to February 7, 2026 in Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia. The draw will take place on October 24 in Kaunas, unfortunately.
