Lids United has officially announced the signing of Dominic Calvert-Lyuin, who joined the club after the end of the contract with Everton on the rights of a free agent.

The English striker entered into a three -year agreement, securing his future to Elland Road by 2028.

The 28-year-old football player has extensive experience at the highest level: in the Premier League he spent 239 matches, scoring 57 goals, often leading the line of attack of his team. Dominic also participated in the European Cups, in particular in the Everton-2016/17 campaign in the Europa League, having spent nine matches.

Calvert-Luine returns to his native Yorkshire, where he started his career in Sheffield United. He passed a number of successful rent before moving to Everton.

The most effective for the forward was the 2020/21 season, when he participated in 26 effective actions, which brought him a call to the national team of England. However, to realize the potential and to justify the issued advances prevented him from systematic injuries.

Last season, DCL spent 1613 minutes in 26 matches for Everton in all tournaments, scored 3 goals and gave 2 assistants.
