Alexander Isaac in Newcastle remains in question, but the club does not intend to sell the Swedish forward. According to The Telegraph, the key decision on potential transfer will be made by the Saudi owners of the club-the PIF State Investment Fund and the chairman of the board of Yasir Al-Rumayan.

Despite the interest from Liverpool and the desire of the player himself to change the team, Newcastle does not consider the option of selling his attacker. Usually Al-Rumayan does not participate in the club’s daily activities, but this time the management decided to intervene because of the strategic importance of the situation.

PIF seeks to keep key players in the club, especially those who have the potential to become the basis of Newcastle project in the coming years.

Last season, Isaac became a key player of the team, scoring 27 goals and giving six effective gears in 42 matches.
