Dynamo will start his journey in the Champions League this week. On Tuesday, Alexander Shovkovsky’s team is expecting a match against Malta Khamun Spartans.

Football.ua contacted one of the most experienced players in the people of Kyivans – Alexander Karavayev told how the meeting had passed, which was thinking about Khmun Spartans, who continues the case of Buschano in Dynamo, and also why he decided to continue his contract with the capital club for another year.

“Everyone has their own tasks depending on the collection stage” – Sashko, the training fee is almost complete. How did he go for you?

– Very positive, because everything we gave us did everything. Of course, it is very difficult, because when you come after a vacation and start doing physical activity, it is difficult. At least it was in the first week. And when the games start, you go into the game rhythm gradually and it is better. And yet, for the whole period of fees, fatigue accumulates. Therefore, the weekend at the end of the collection was appropriate. Just what is needed to enter the weekly cycle before official matches.

– How would you appreciate your fitness now?

– It is difficult to objectively evaluate your own physical form, because you can make some assessment after several official matches. Training games are one story, but when the official starts, you perceive them quite differently. This is both another mood, and physically you use yourself to the maximum. For official matches, I am physically ready for 100%, and if you look at endurance, then here you can definitely be said only after a few matches of official status.

– I read on the official website that on Friday you had an interesting relay for speed, equipment and ingenuity. What did you do?

– We often have such exercises to think a little. You start on the signal, run 10 meters, circle a stable ball. And then we play an analogue of “Crosses-Noli”. You will put a cust (like a cross or a nick), you have 4 players in a team. It becomes interesting when three Manishki laid and you have to translate this cunning. There you need to think where to translate so that the opponent does not finish this game.

Or it happens: you have five positions, each with players. You need to give the pass and the last one who at the end should score a goal in a small gate. If you do not score, you squeeze. Or if you are the last, then you squeeze. That is, you can do a twice.

– It is still interesting that somewhere near you his training camp unfolded the English Lester, and the other day will start collecting Cologne. Already crossed with one of the players of these clubs at the site of the meeting? Perhaps they looked for training?

– It was with the players that they did not intersect. Because, as I understand, Cologne should be in the same hotel where we are now. They have already hung up what they will be here. We first go to Malta, then to Lublin. Therefore, we change our location, and they will start work here.

As for Lester, we trained today in the place where they will work. In general, I heard that Lester and Cologne plan to have a control match.

– I read many experiences of fans about the results of control matches at the meeting. Like, how we can lose Osiek, Magyulland, etc. The result at the meeting matters? Is the match account – not the main thing, but more important are the conclusions from each game?

– For a team such as Dynamo, the result of the match should always be in the first place, this is the most important thing. And to reassure the fans, I will say that the meeting is such a stage of preparation, where you work not on the result, but on certain requirements of the coaching staff. You work under load and often it happens when you play with rivals that complete the meeting and fit the plus minus ready for the season. And, for example, only the first days we work at the meeting. Or vice versa.

In short, there are certain tasks depending on the collection stage. Sometimes you need to get exercise: either time or full match. That’s why it is in the football world: the results of the meeting are not an indicator, because you have some tasks for these games. And when there are official matches, then you can draw some conclusions. We had our own tasks and of course, we want a constant result. But under loads it is somewhat difficult.

“Not much surprise that Hamrun passed Szaurgis”– This week Dynamo will start in the Champions League. You are already an experienced football player who has repeatedly played in this tournament. What feelings do you have now, on the eve of the start in this tournament this year?

– Only positive. Because when the new season begins with the most important tasks for the team, it is very motivated. In particular, it is a speech on the European. Of course, you want to show the results, get to the group stage. When you know that your season starts with the qualification of the Champions League, or as it was – from the group stage, it is more enjoyable than starting from the championship first. At the same time, you understand that it is responsibility.

– Many were waiting for your opponent to become a pitygiris, but Hamrun Spartans made a small sensation. Did you surprise what this confrontation ended?

– I will not say that he was much surprised. But after the first match, the boys and I looked at him, noticed that at the expense of 0: 0, Khamrun Spartans created a lot of problems with the team Szeurgis. It is no accident that at home, in their stands, they showed a completely different football and were able to align this confrontation in just 20-30 minutes.

I understand that now all teams, even national teams, which were previously considered weak, have learned to play football. Everyone progresses, so it is very difficult to play with all teams. There should be no underestimation, which showed the match Khamrun – Szaurgis.

-The situation is similar to the Polesie in the League of Conferences: everyone was waiting for the Zhytomyr residents to play with a bora, and here Santa Coloma …

– Yes, I also read a lot of interviews from Polissya coaches who followed the Borats, who performed very well in the European Cups. And here – Bach! – I look the result, and they flew from the European Cups. Therefore, everyone should understand that there will be no weak rivals.

– The fact that the European Cup matches of this season will play in Lublin, not in Hamburg, plus for the team?

– I believe that plus. This is less time on the road, plus, location is better. There are still many Ukrainians in Lublin. Therefore, we expect that the attendance will be higher than it was last season. This is the ideal option at the moment.

– Not far off your start in UPL. The first match will take place on August 2 against Veres, and then matches against Rukh and Epicenter. In fact, the team will spend all this time in the western regions, which is convenient in terms of logistics. Can you say that with the calendar at the start is lucky?

– If you look so, of course. This is a big plus and this should be used. Because if it was necessary to go to Kryvyi Rih or Alexandria in 1-2 round, then it would be uncomfortable logistically. Therefore, in terms of logistics is very good that happened exactly .

“Together with Buyalsky and Yarmolenko, we support Buschan’s inheritance in Dynamo”– Dynamo recently presented a new form. It is more comfortable to play than in the previous one?

– It became a little more comfortable. And the training form, by the way, is also more comfortable. This suggests that the developers of the form take care and understand how to make athletes comfortable conditions for working in this clothing.

-Saudi Arabia has entertainment Minister-Turkey Ash-Sheikh. In Dynamo, as it seemed from the side, the function of such a minister (if not entertainment, then a positive mood) was performed by Georgy Buschan for a long time. Who is now responsible for the positive in the team?

– Karavayev, Yarmolenko, Buyalsky. It is necessary to maintain the Wheora’s inheritance in Dynamo 🙂

– Angel Torres in this off -season became almost the only newcomer Dynamo, except for Alexander Yatsik and Vladislav Supryag, who returned from the lease. How well is the interaction of Torres with partners?

– A big plus is that Angel understands English. We have almost everyone in the team in English. He constantly asks some of the principles of the game, communicates a lot. Of course, it is difficult for him, because he came to a new environment. But Angel develops, wants to know a lot, develop. We have no obstacle in terms of communication.

– In winter and in the spring, there was a lot of talk that your contract was coming. But you have signed a new agreement with Dynamo. What was the decisive factor in your decision?

– Yes, there were many factors. First, the club proposed a contract. Many say, “But, 33, this is a great age for Dynamo.” But they do not consider the club because they see how I work. Plus, I talked with my family. And yet, the words of Andrei Yarmolenko and Vitaliy Buyalsky were of great importance. They are dynamo legends. And of course, from the President of the club I heard the words of support. Together, these factors led to the fact that I had no doubt about my decision to continue the contract.

I have long been in Dynamo and I understand that I can still be useful for the team. If I understood that I did not reach Dynamo level, I do not give or be able to give the result, then “sorry, but I do not reach and I will try something else.” But at this stage, I understand that I have a lot of strength, energy and desire to help Dynamo become a champion like last season. And now there is a great opportunity to get to the dreamy Champions League.

“The Golden Ball would give a sulk to Dembele”– Probably, you watched the Club Championship of the World. Who did you like the most?

– Honestly, not many matches of the club championship of the world looked. But when I looked, I liked PSG how they operated in almost every match. And how they were pressing in the attack. Interestingly, the fate happened that in the finals they have everything they did throughout the season. Plus, the teams from South America were struck. You don’t look as much as European teams, and here they reach high stages. And this demonstrates a high level of teams that do not play in Europe.

– Chelsea as the winner – unexpectedly?

– More than not. Everyone believed that the tournament would win PSG because they look cool this season. But if you see how it was at the beginning of the season, chelsea was all hiding. At the expense of their bet on young players, on the head coach, they reached the end of the season and issued a bright finish.

– If you could vote for the contender for the golden ball, who would be today?

– Either Yarmolenko, or Buyalsky. 50/50, I doubt a little. But seriously, I will prefer the Dembele for all this season.
