“From the PFL Board, President Alexander Kadenko cannot participate in the voting of club certification, as he is a member of the UAF executive committee. He can be an observer, can monitor activities, ask additional issues to members of the committee of certification about a particular club, or provide them with additional information.
There was also a question from clubs about financing certification. For many years, money came from clubs for this procedure, although UEFA directly financed this area of activity of the UAF, despite the fact that the clubs were released.
The clubs asked this question – we have analyzed and concluded that the UAF can cover the financing of the club certification procedure itself. Since this season, the contribution for UPL clubs has been reduced, and from the season-2026/27 the clubs will be fully exempted from contributions and financing the certification procedure, which will be carried out at the expense of UEFA.
We try to make the procedure of certification more transparent and the same for all clubs, “-said Gryshchenko at a press conference.
