The national team of England for the second time in a row was won by the youth (U-21) European Championship.

In the final of the tournament, which in 2025 received Slovakia, the British “shot” the Germans. In this way, they defended the title of European Champions, which was obtained two years earlier in Georgia/Romania.

It should be noted that twice in a row Euro U-21, England won for the second time in its history after success in 1982 and 1984. At the same time, only the national teams of Spain and Italy are more successful participants in the tournament (both – five wins).

In the summer of 2027, the Youth Championship of Europe will be hosted by Albania and Serbia. The first matches of the group stage of qualification took place in June 2025, while the latter were planned for October 2026, and the playoffs-for November.
