The women’s national team of Ukraine today, on April 4, held a nominally home match against the Czech Republic as part of the League of Nations-2025 Division B. The match took place in Polish Polkovtsy and ended with a minimum victory of “blue and yellow”-1: 0.

The game began on an equal footing, both teams created dangerous moments. In the first half, Ukrainka did not realize a few good opportunities, and at the beginning of the second half of the meeting, the goalkeeper Kateryna Samson rescued the national team after the rival’s release himself.

The score was opened by Ukrainians in the 57th minute: Olga Ovdiychuk intercepted the ball, gave the transfer to Nicole Kozlov, who returned the ball to the partner-and the accurate blow struck the Gate of the Czech Republic.

The final minutes went in intense struggle. The Czechs tried to play, but our girls kept the advantage and brought the match to victory.

This harassment became the third consecutive for the women’s national team in the League of Nations, which allowed the “blue and yellow” to lead its group. The next match Vladimir Pyenko’s team will again play against the Czech Republic-on April 8 in Usta-Ead-Labem. The beginning of the duel – at 6:30 pm Kyiv time.
