The UN Security Council plans to hold a meeting on February 24 – on the day when three years ago the full -scale war of Russia against Ukraine began. Several countries have already requested its conduct.
According to China’s permanent representative to the UN FU Tsun, Beijing, who in February presides in the Rada, is obliged to organize meetings in accordance with the rules of the organization.
“This day is three years since the conflict begins in Ukraine, and there are already countries that have proposed to hold a meeting, ”said FU TSUN at a press conference.
In addition, he suggested that Russia may require an alternative meeting, which China will also be obliged to organize.
It is worth noting that the last meeting of the Council for Ukraine took place on January 16 at the request of Slovenia and the United States.
