Inter Miami has agreed a new contract with its superstar striker Lionel Messi. This is reported by Marca.

According to the source, the new agreement with the Argentine will be calculated until the end of 2026.

It is noted that the 37-year-old football player decided to extend the agreement in order to play at the 2026 World Cup.

At the same time, the new contract provides for a clause on the possibility of Messi going on loan to one of the European clubs in the period from the end of 2025 to the beginning of 2026, when there are no matches in the MLS.

The current employment agreement of the player with the club is calculated until December 31, 2025.
