The new contract with the 29-year-old Brazilian is calculated until the end of June 2025. It includes an option to extend until the end of the upcoming campaign and the 2026 season.
Los Angeles added Marlon to the roster in September, while his contract with Shakhtar expired a few months earlier. “Miners” bought the player in the summer of 2021 from Sassuolo for 12 million euros. The centre-back has 22 matches for the Donetsk club in all competitions.
The Brazilian has already played eight matches for the “black and gold” (all tournaments), scoring one goal.
