The left winger of Athletics, Nico Williams, was in the sphere of interest of Bayern, journalist Florian Plettenberg reports.

The management of the “Reds” plans to strengthen the team with one or two top wingers in the summer of 2025, depending on the situation with the available performers (Sane, Gnabry, Coman, Zaragoza).

The 22-year-old Spaniard is expected to be available for €50-60m. His contract with Atlético runs until the end of June 2027.

Williams has made 23 appearances in all competitions this campaign, scoring two goals and providing five assists.

It was previously reported that Bayern have also turned their attention to Borussia Dortmund left winger Jamie Gittens.
