The next round of the Champions League ended the day before. After the format change, teams play 18 matches per tour, instead of 16 as before.

In this tour, 67 goals were scored and it became a new record of performance. The previous one was set in the first round of the 2000/01 Champions League, when the teams scored 63 goals in 16 matches.

So, now the top three performance leaders are as follows:

1) 5th round-2024/25 – 67 goals (18 matches)
2) 1st round-2000/01 – 63 goals (16 matches)
3) 3rd round-2020/21 – 62 goals (16 matches)
