“I am grateful to the players for the dedication they showed. It was not easy to create something on such a difficult pitch. But with such a high deficit it is very difficult to play. Especially against an opponent like Georgia when they play at home with a lot of support. Unfortunately, we we couldn’t hold the result. We could have scored the ball at the end. Now we are preparing for an equally important match with Albania.
We scored a fast enough ball. The result was extremely important for us today, the players tried to keep the lead. Probably, because of this there was such a shortage, we sat in a rather low block. The players understand what country we are playing for, they give their all. But the result greatly influenced their actions. Once again, we played on the road against the Georgian national team, which was supported by the stands. In my opinion, today the Georgians played with a different motivation than in the first meeting.
Mudryk did a lot of intensive work. I suggested to him at some points. This player is important for us, makes great speed, helps in attack. I asked how ready he was because the pitch was very tough.
