The cool tour turned out, it’s interesting. There is only one crushing victory in eight games, but this game will not be called uninteresting. A defender’s hat-trick is, in principle, a rare delicacy, and in Ukraine it is an almost impossible miracle. And then, isn’t the very fact of Alexandria’s sure victory interesting? However, about everything in order.

The Kyiv club had to play the match after a real humiliation. Everyone understands everything – the war, the dollar exchange rate has fallen, it is extremely difficult to bring in classy legionnaires – but you cannot lose 0:4 to Ferencvaros under any circumstances. All force majeure maximally equate Dynamo’s strength with the team that it crushed in the best times, and simply beat in the worst, receiving criticism for a lackluster game (not to mention the fact that it was stronger than Rebrov and Ferencvaros).

In principle, the UPL game showed that Dynamo is far from at the peak of form and should take the break in the national team with joy. But even the team from the iron top-4 championship made such mistakes that the Kyivans played with a huge form.

I highly recommend watching the episodes in which Mykhailichenko received yellow cards. They can be included in training manuals – as examples of optional violations, the presence of which did absolutely nothing to the Policy, and the absence of which would not make anything worse. The defender first grabbed Kabaev by the T-shirt, and then let go of the ball and fouled Buyalskyi. The second foul, as you understand, is already with a yellow in the passive.

It is not clear how it is possible to set up a team like that with the experience of hundreds of matches at the professional level. Mykhailichenko played both abroad (Anderlecht), and in a top club (Shakhtar), and in European Cups (the same two teams plus Zorya), but he deprived Polissia of an obvious chance to press Dynamo, which was very tired in the European Cup match, in the second half. Penalty – in the same row; Smolyakov intercepted a cross from the flank in a completely handball style, in a not at all critical situation.

This, in general, explains why the same people are so dominant in the domestic league and so helpless on the European stage. Even Ferencvaros does not make such stupid mistakes, not to mention stronger opponents. That’s why the full-back catches a senseless dismissal from Dynamo itself.

Shakhtar won thanks to the depth of the squad…

Shakhtar played with Zorya for the second time in two weeks: most recently, the same teams played in the Cup. And Shakhtar played after an important victory in the Champions League against Young Boys. As a result, the starting line-up of the “miners” was much closer to the “cup” than to the optimal one: compared to the battle in the Champions League, Azarov, Vinicius Tobias, Pedrinho, Marlon Gomez, Sikan got off the bench.

Not “boys from the yard” at all, yes. Even after changing half of the team, Shakhtar can field a very capable team – not to mention that in such a situation, the team simply has ultra-top replacements. Bartulovich himself emphasized this after the game, saying that the miners have two players for each position. Zorya only had enough for the first half, then she was encouraged by an avalanche of attacks – Kevin scored the winning goal in a particularly impressive way.

There are four zeros left in the standings. You can wait a long time for a victory from Ingulets, the unbeaten streak of at least one person in the tandem of Dynamo and Oleksandria may end in December, when the teams will play two matches in a row (the match of the first round was moved there). But the absence of a draw in Zorya is a real surprise, and if earlier such an incident could be associated with “uncompromising”, now Lugansk simply lose a lot.

Four defeats in the last five rounds, eight in the last 11. The people of Luhansk have not looked so helpless since the unforgettable days of Anatoly Chantsev: a man who complained to all his teams how bad everything was, and it even looked convincing, but the same Vernydub after him for some reason made instant progress.

Now, it turns out, is Bartulovich guilty? I don’t think so; after all, Koval, Kriventsov, and Lalatovych showed themselves weakly to Mladen. The defense spoils the star: Jordan, who was brought in as a rising star, is very powerful, creative, but this is an own goal out of nowhere, like in the last round – one of the million types of his glaring mistakes in the same place, which happen to him almost in every game. And his status as the main one, taking everything into account, cannot be doubted at all, while Bartulovich is forced to pair him with the nominal defender Bašych. Two 21-year-old legionnaires, Esquinha and Nwaeze, also did not live up to expectations and settled in the reserve. This is not to mention the fact that three center backs per season is, in principle, very little.

… But the bench in the Movement is worse than that of Veres

The Lviv team, meanwhile, after a great start, continued their gloomy streak, losing to Veres.

The most interesting thing is that the victory looks logical and according to the game. Many years of gradual strengthening of the composition finally began to bear fruit: internal competition appeared in Veres. Dakhnovsky started largely because of Sharay’s disqualification – and answered the chance with a goal and an assist. Mrvaljevych looked weak in the last rounds – and yesterday, until the 75th minute, he followed Haiduchyk’s example of how to work on the attack. Veres has competition in all positions: even in the position of number one goalkeeper of the national team of Moldova, Kozuhar is pushed by the well-deserved and classy veteran Kohut, who literally in the last “contacts” helped a lot not to be relegated from the Epicenter.

At Rukh, we can say, there is no bench. It wasn’t difficult for Dakhnovsky to score a goal: at the very beginning of the game, Ledvyi set up Pidgurskyi with a pass in such a way that, one might say, he himself organized the opponent’s exit face-to-face. But with whom to replace Ledvy, if you put him in the reserve? 20-year-old Gereta could easily be worse; perhaps, Pankiv should have been kept on the bench for another season… Due to Didyk’s disqualification, Slyubik entered the field, who also gave Dakhnovsky, Haiduchyk and company the most comfortable welcome; and that goes for most positions – there is a void behind such a young Rukh talent and he can play as he pleases.

There are currently only two footballers over the age of 24 in the Movement – and I would not have expected Plyumen to be in the first team after the winter off-season. Regularly there are 8-9 junior players on the field – and this usually contributes to extreme instability.

The most interesting thing is that behind the Movement is a very wealthy owner who built the infrastructure, which, according to the club manager, is worth about 80 million dollars. And here the question arises: but is this one so significant? the title of the youngest team in the world by myself? Isn’t it better to take players into the competition like the same Dakhnovsky, who would play one match out of three, would support the competition and help to score points more stably?

And so far, Rukh has not won a single victory in the last eight rounds.

Hero of the tour

Alexandria no longer surprises anyone with its victories. So it was with Leicester: everyone discussed with such interest the failed season of the late Pellegrini, the terrible season of Van Gaal at Manchester United, the beginning of Klopp’s restructuring, etc., that the team of some downed pilots (Ranieri was rejected by all the top clubs, Huth by Chelsea, from Drinkwater – Manchester United, from Vardy – in general, all professional clubs, except Leicester) simply, it would seem, gained points to avoid relegation, until it became a champion.

Meanwhile, Alexandria won another victory. A few details of this one:

1) Defeated the fifth team of the league;

2) They beat against the background of extravaganza from the opponent’s goalkeeper (Kemkin distinguished himself with at least a couple of excellent saves);

3) They were beaten without a single moment near their own goal (Yermakov could concentrate on the beginning of scoring attacks);

4) They beat, despite the bad luck (Bezerra could definitely score, but he hit the post).

And now the players are also revealed. Of course, this time it was Kampush who scored a hat-trick from the position of the central defender – but earlier Rotan made Belyaev and Kozak important parts of the team, made huge progress from Kovalets, adapted Bezerra to the super-top level… The evening is no longer difficult. Now Oleksandria wins its matches much more confidently than Shakhtar and Dynamo – and the same sparring with Kyiv at the end of the year will decide a lot. This is not to mention that the Alexandrians have already beaten Shakhtar and Polissia.

Mixture of the tour

Livy Bereg and Ingulets opened the tour with a game in which no one could lose. Oboloni’s win only underlined that staying worse even at such low altitudes (and teams scoring about 0.5 points per game are very low altitudes) is tantamount to a ticket to the first league. That’s probably why both opponents put as much effort into what they can do: fighting in all areas of the field.

The start of the match was postponed due to anxiety in the Kyiv region – and although the “Left Bank” arena is visually indistinguishable from the Kyiv agglomeration, it belongs to the region, not to Kyiv itself. That’s right: according to the style of play, the Left Bank itself is not a metropolitan team, but a rural team. It is no different from the same Ingulets who goes to the game with the goal of winning as many martial arts as possible. This is not bad in itself – at one time half of the Bundesliga played in “fight-fight” – but Galas, of course, crossed the line in the fight with Mogilny.

Left Bank had to play in the minority from the 17th minute, but that doesn’t mean they had to play in the minority for 70+ minutes. The game as a whole was mired in fouls, and with normal refereeing, Ingulets should have earned a few more yellow cards, some of which should have been the second for the players. Artem Mykhailiuk is a very young referee, who so far rarely receives matches in the top league – and his team did not cope with the pace of the game, allowing it to turn into some mixture of American football with martial arts.

Vorskla came to Odesa in a very gloomy mood: 13th place, ten games without a win, a shortage of personnel such that the game had to start with seven players on the bench (Chornomorets started with twelve). But Maksimov found the strength to turn around here as well.

First, Perduta served his disqualification on time and returned. This, albeit after several moves, made it possible to remove Khrypchuk to the reserve: Perduta, as usual, stood on the right wing, Krupsky moved from the right flank to the left, Batsula from the left flank – to the center of defense, and Khrypchuk sat in the reserve. Moreover, Myakushka’s recovery made it possible to increase internal competition: Kornienko returned to the bench.

It is interesting that such a restructuring of the defense helped the attack as well. The connections of Perduta and Krupski were dangerous throughout the game, and the standard, on which Gucek helped, became decisive. After a corner and Nesterenko’s bicycle kick, he and Iede, unlike the defenders of Chornomorets, completed the episode to the end – and helped Ndukwe push the winning goal. How can we not mention here that Iede and Gucek played for Chornomorets last season.

Maksimov has not yet saved anything and anyone – even now Vorskla is only 12th. But after an incomplete month of work in its implementation: a) the team is able to score the winning goal with the efforts of two players who came as substitutes (Nesterenko and Ndukwe); b) the team attacks much more actively and meaningfully (Perduta had not been so active going forward before); c) internal competition is growing (Kornienko and Khrypchuk hardly like to sit in the reserve, and the “jokers” of the last game can easily move someone). Where Maksimov is, it’s never boring, so we’re following the development of the Poltava project with interest.

No matter how hard Dynamo played, its only goal from the game was just a piece of candy. So it’s worth it to play a one-touch combo.
