Details: The President noted that returning “its people” home is something Ukraine is constantly working on. “And we will not stop until we return all our people,” Zelenskyy said.

Zelensky thanked the team that is looking for our people and organizing this important work, as well as the UAE for helping to make today’s event possible.

The Coordinating Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported that Ukraine has achieved a separate format for the return of seriously ill and wounded prisoners, who were returned as a result of mutual repatriation.

Representatives of the National Guard, the Armed Forces (including TrO), the Navy, and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine are returning home and will receive proper treatment and rehabilitation.

Also among those released are wounded Ukrainian servicemen from Kurshchyna.

The youngest released is 24 years old.

The wounded have, in particular, loss of vision, amputations of limbs, complex bullet wounds and consequences of mine and explosive injuries. Among the diseases are tuberculosis, oncology, gangrene, which eloquently testifies to the conditions in which our people have to live.

The Coordinating Staff reminded that according to the third Geneva Convention, the seriously ill and seriously injured should be returned first.
