Slovan Bratislava with Ignatenko lost to Celtic in a crushing defeat

The Scottish club left almost no chance for the opponent.

In the framework of the first round of the main round of the renewed UEFA Champions League, Celtic defeated Slovan Bratislava on their own field, in the starting lineup of which Ukrainian defensive midfielder Danylo Ignatenko appeared on the field.

The Scottish team dealt with the Slovakian team in a dominant manner, scoring as many as five goals, while the Slovan players had to settle for only a “prestige” goal in the 60th minute.

As for Ignatenko himself, in the 55th minute, the Ukrainian “brought” a penalty into his team’s goal, which was successfully implemented by Engels. The final whistle fixed the final score 5:1 in favor of “Celts”.
