In the territory of the Alabuga economic zone in the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, a warehouse where parts for the manufacture of 400 units of UAVs of the Shahed-136 type were stored burned down. The losses of the aggressor country due to the destruction of the components are estimated at 16 million dollars, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported on Monday, December 23.
According to intelligence, 65 fuselages of strike drones were stored in the warehouse, as well as engines, navigation systems, and thermal video cameras for the production of shaheds.
“The mysterious devastating fire was another blow to the military-industrial complex of terrorist Russia,” the report said.
GUR did not specify the cause of the fire and the date.
UAV attack on Kazan in Tatarstan on December 21 – what is known
On December 21, Kazan in Tatarstan was attacked by drones. The local authorities announced the arrivals to houses and the territory of the industrial enterprise. A video appeared on the Internet showing how drones crash into high-rise buildings, probably due to the work of Russian electronic surveillance.
