Five arsons happened in Moscow and the Moscow region. On December 20, a police car was set on fire in Butovoy, a bank branch was set on fire on Jan Rynis Boulevard. On December 21, three fireworks were launched at once; in two MFCs and a branch of the Post of Russia.
In Krasnoyarsk, a student set fire to a bank, and in Tver, an unknown person poured gasoline and set fire to a parked police car. In Rostov-on-Don, a man staged a pyrotechnic show in a bank branch. In Tobolsk, they burned snow-clearing railway equipment, and in St. Petersburg, a police car. In the morning, it was set on fire by two grandmothers at once. Also today there was a real explosion in the bank: a pensioner poured flammable liquid into the ATM and then lit a match. She recorded all her actions on video.
“All cases are the result of the work of fraudsters. First, they lure the victims for money, and then offer to return them for arson, or invent a story about the perpetrators who need to be smoked out from somewhere,” Baza said in a message.
