The reporter asked what would happen if Biden did not support the Victory Plan.
Zelensky’s direct speech: “That’s a terrible thought. It would mean that Biden doesn’t want to end the war in a way that deprives Russia of victory. And we would have a very long war – an impossible, exhausting situation that would lead to the death of a huge number of people.
Having said that, I can’t fault Biden for anything. After all, he took a powerful, historic step when he decided to support us at the start of the war, prompting our other partners to do the same. We recognize Biden’s great achievement in this regard. This step of his was already a historic victory.”

Not only that, continuing to pursue this goal will also significantly weaken Russia, which will jeopardize Putin’s own position.”
