“Today (January 18 – ed.) Ukrainian law enforcement officers did a very good job: SBU, SBU, National Police, our Prosecutor’s Office. There is opposition to traitors and various schemes that weakened our state, our Ukrainian society. And everyone who takes the path against Ukraine, against the law in Ukraine, must remember that there will be an answer,” Zelensky emphasized.
He explained that new decisions on sanctions are already being prepared.
“We are also currently preparing a new decision on NSDC sanctions – tomorrow there will be a decree,” the president said.
Earlier, on October 8, Zelenskyi signed decrees that implemented two decisions of the National Security and Defense Council on the application of sanctions.
Among the legal entities against which the NSDC imposed sanctions are Russian and Chinese companies, including the state corporation “Rostech” and several enterprises in the aviation industry.
In particular, lawyer Tetiana Montyan, who is suspected of justifying Russian aggression in Ukraine, and judges working in the occupied territories, in particular Tetiana Shklyar and Hanna Gulo, were subject to personal sanctions.
In addition, the NSDC introduced restrictive measures against four companies registered in Cyprus.
