Details: Zelensky noted that this meeting with Trump was good. During it, the leaders of the countries discussed the Middle East, the protection of Ukrainians, the purchase of US air defense systems, as well as the negotiations of Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Istanbul.

During the conversation, Zelensky noted the importance that the US recent actions in Iran weakened not only the country’s nuclear program but also the production of drones.
“The president discussed the protection of our people, first of all the purchase of US air defense systems to cover our cities, our people, churches, infrastructure,” the Ukrainian president said.
Zelensky told Trump how the meetings of the technical team in Istanbul and exchanges of prisoners and dead. In particular, he drew attention to the fact that Russia had handed us the corpses of its dead.
“They talked about the situation on the battlefield. Putin does not win exactly. He presented the president that is actually happening on the ground,” the Ukrainian president added.
