“Very Good Conversation”: Zelensky stated that he had talked with Trump at a G7 meeting

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he had talked with his American visa Donald Trump during the G7 summit, called the conversation “good” and expressed his hope for further support of Ukraine by the United States.

Details: On February 24, on the day of the third anniversary of the large -scale invasion of Russia, the G7 meeting took place.

“As for Donald Trump … We have just had a conversation. It was a very good conversation in the framework of the Great Seven Countries under Canada,” Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president thanked Canada for organizing this meeting.

“We very much hope that the United States will continue supporting other partners. Of course, we need not to lose this unity between Europe and the United States,” the Ukrainian president stressed.

That preceded:

• On this day, Trump arrived with a visit by French President Emmanuel Macron. The media reported that US and France leaders had to discuss events in Ukraine.
• Bloomberg reported that the United States threatens to withdraw the support of a joint statement of the Seven Group states by the third anniversary of the full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine.
