According to him, he agreed with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo to hold a meeting of governments of Ukraine and Slovakia in October, where Kiev will offer appropriate support.
“There will be a meeting of government officials in Slovakia, where Ukraine can offer and offer alternative steps to energy support. But if it is not about Russian oil and Russian gas,” Zelensky said.
He added that this issue could also be spoken with the Hungarians.
“But there are no steps from them. In addition to any media signals there, which are definitely not supported by Ukraine, I hear nothing anymore,” Zelensky said.
That preceded: US President Donald Trump, in a speech at the UN General Assembly, has repeated its expectations that Europe should give up Russian energy as soon as possible because it “funds the war against itself.”
Subsequently, Trump and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban had a telephone conversation, in particular, on Russian energy.
After this conversation, Orban stated that hundreds of Hungarian families would have ruined if they had to give up Russian energy.
