Details: The coordination headquarters on the management of prisoners of war clarifies that 33 military and 51 civilians have been liberated from Russian captivity.
The peculiarity of today’s exchange is that it was possible to liberate civilian and military Ukrainians, who were detained in temporarily occupied territories even to a full -scale invasion and illegally convicted of long detention – from 10 to 18 years. One of the released was in captivity for 4013 days – it was enslaved in Donetsk in 2014.
Ukrainians, captured and convicted by the occupiers from 2016 to 2021, are also returned to their native land. There are three women from Donetsk and Luhansk regions. One of them is elementary school teacher, imprisonment in 2019.

Among the released civilian Ukrainians on August 14 is a 27-year-old guy who was illegally deprived of his will in 2016. At that time he was only 18 years old.
In addition to civilian civilians, defenders from the garrison of Mariupol, warriors of the Navy and the State Border Service are also returning. 10 officers managed to liberate from captivity.

Two pairs of brothers were returned from Russian captivity, which were kept in captivity since March and April 2022.
Most of the liberated civilians and military have health problems and disabilities.
The age of the youngest released is 26 years old, the oldest is 74 years old, of which he has been in Russian prison for the last 7 years (since 2018).
