“Albania has been providing military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and will continue support throughout the ten-year term of the agreement. Albania will also contribute to the coalition of fighter jets,” Zelensky emphasized.

The head of state thanked Albania for supporting Kyiv’s European integration path, strengthening positions on the battlefield and “approaching a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.”

This is not the first bilateral document between Kyiv and Tirana. In February 2024, the leaders of both countries signed the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation.

In addition, in January 2025, the Embassy of Albania started working in Kyiv.
