Details: It is reported that Fidan is a two -day visit to Moscow, where he met with Vladimir Putin on Monday, as well as with Russia’s main negotiation in Istanbul Vladimir Medinsky.

On Tuesday, Fidan will meet his Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
During the meeting, Putin and Fidan discussed “the initiatives implemented recently to end the war between Ukraine and Russia, (and) developments after negotiations in Istanbul,” Turkish source said.
On Monday, Russia said that the main topic of negotiation with Fidan will be bilateral relations, but Ukraine will also be discussed.

- On the eve of the meeting, the Turkish source reported that Fidan would repeat Ankara’s proposal about his readiness to play the role of “mediator” in negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation
- Russian sources have said they consider Turkey, united Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman potentially suitable negotiation places.
