Details: The US President added that Biden did not even know what kind of pardon he signed.

“The necessary pardon documents were not explained or approved by Biden. He knew nothing about them, and those who knew could commit a crime,” Trump wrote, but he did not provide any evidence to confirm his words.

The publication notes that similar arguments have given the Conservative Heritage Fund, which states that Biden used facsimile, on the basis of seemingly identical signatures found on several Biden documents.

According to Bloomberg, Trump’s comments indicate that his administration may try to pursue some of the greatest political opponents of the President, including the former Congresswumen Liz Cheney, retired General Mark Milly and expert on infectious diseases Anthony Fauchi.

The right to pardon has long been considered one of the most absolute powers of the President-and the courts reluctantly impose any restrictions on how it is granted.

Although Trump acknowledged that the courts should eventually make decisions on the validity of the pardon, his comments open up the possibility that the Ministry of Justice may try to pursue some of the largest political opponents of the President.

“This is not my decision – it will decide the court – but I would say that they have no legal force because I am sure that Biden had no idea that it was happening and someone used an automatic pen to sign and issue a pardon,” Trump told journalists on board Air Force.

The decision of the Federal Court of Appeal of 2024 states that the pardon should not necessarily be in writing.

In 1929, the Ministry of Justice stated that “neither the Constitution nor the laws establish the method by which pardon should be made or evidence of its implementation. This is fully within the competence of the President.”

The George Bush Jr. Administration referred to this opinion, protecting the use of Bush Faximile, a robotic tool that the presidents have used for decades to keep up with the volume of routine correspondence they had to sign.

But its use was controversial because it questioned that the President personally approved these actions.

In his post, Trump did not specify what kind of pardon decisions were discussed, however, it is known that on the last day Biden was prevented by the members of his family, as well as a number of officials who could face the persecution by his successor.
