That preceded: On November 27, before his inauguration, Trump announced that he had selected the candidature of the General with a retired Keith Kelloga as a “special representative on Ukraine and Russia”.
On March 13, NBC News reported that Kellogo was expelled from a high level negotiation after the Kremlin declared his unwillingness to participate in them. According to the Russian official who spoke to NBC News, Vladimir Putin considers Kelloga “too close to Ukraine”.
