Details: Sky News interlocutors claim that on Thursday, August 7, Trump discussed the opportunity to use Rome as a negotiation platform to meet Putin next week.

According to the interlocutors, if the US President and the Kremlin leader meet in Rome, then it will happen in the Vatican.
The Italian Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the Foreign Minister of Italy, Antonio Tayanio believes that “how and where a real diplomatic dialogue between Russia and Ukraine will take place, Italy will be ready to support this process sincerely and constructively.”
If Italy or the Vatican would be selected by the Trump and Putin negotiations, the issue of the International Criminal Court order to arrest the Kremlin head would arose. Italy, as a participant in the Roman Statute, would be obliged to arrest Putin in the event of his arrival in the country.
