Three Ukrainians, who were stuck in the Romanian part of Marmaros and whom the rescuers could not find at first, waited for help alive.

This is reported by Digi24, writes “European Truth”.

After lunch on December 25, the head of the mountain rescue service, Sabin Kornoiu, announced that three Ukrainians, who had been wanted since the previous day, had been found alive.

One of them suffered multiple injuries as a result of the fall, and the other two have mild hypothermia. All were hospitalized.

“Rescuers expanded the search area and hoped to also use a helicopter for aerial inspection, but the weather conditions were not the best. So the search was carried out by ground methods, and fortunately, we correctly guessed in which area they could be,” the head of the service said.

According to him, the travelers were found in a very dangerous gorge.

The official said that the authorities “will continue to take legal steps to ensure that these citizens receive the right to stay in Romania”, while not saying directly whether they are men fleeing mobilization.

Before this morning, the rescue service reported that the first 12 hours of work ended in nothing and they the operation was suspended.

We will remind, Romanian rescuers on December 24 received a request for help from three citizens of Ukraine who are in one of the most difficult areas of the Romanian part of Marmaros.

In the beginning of December in this area rescued a 28-year-old Ukrainian from a mountain gorgewho fled from mobilization with a several-month-old kitten.
