The Verkhovna Rada has been submitted by a bill that can allow men under 22 years of traveling abroad

The Verkhovna Rada has entered a bill, which has a provision for permission to men from 18 to 22 years to go abroad.

Details: Venislavsky reported to the public that such a bill has been submitted and confirmed that it was the development of President Vladimir Zelensky’s initiative on the permission of men under 22 years to go abroad.

Fedienko noted that the government may allow men under 22 years of age due to approval of a resolution on the rules of departure from Ukraine during martial law, but the government allegedly did not want to adopt such a resolution, so MPs have made a bill on changes to the Verkhovna Rada.

The text of the bill has not yet been published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada. It is noted that on August 22 it was obtained by Parliament and submitted to the management.

Prehistory:

• On August 12, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he had instructed the Government to “work out” to simplify the crossing of the border for Ukrainians from 18 to 22 years.
• On August 18, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko reported that the Cabinet is working on a decree that will allow men from 18 to 22 years old. It was planned to be approved by the end of the week. Sviridenko noted that this decision “does not require legislative changes”.
