Explosions at the Engels aerodrome in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation on the night of March 20 were the result of joint work of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Special Operations of the Armed Forces.

Details: It is known that this airfield is the key base of Russian strategic aviation. There are Tu-95MC bombers, TU-22M3 and Tu-160, as well as warehouses from Fabs, Caba and Winged Rockets. It is from him that planes that make rocket strokes in Ukraine.

The successful attack of drones of the SBU and SCOs in the area of ​​the aerodrome recorded a fire, explosions and secondary detonation of ammunition.

According to the source, Russian air defense systems operated inefficiently and hit rockets in civilian buildings and infrastructure facilities in the cities of Engels and Saratov.

Updated: The General Staff of the Armed Forces confirmed a blow to the military aerodrome in Engels. They emphasized that this military facility is used by the occupiers’ aviation, in particular, for the task of missile strikes in the territory of Ukraine and terrorist attacks against civilians.
