Details: German Finance Minister Jorg Kukis, in a letter quoted by Reuters, informed the Bundestag Committee on the budget that the requirements for allocating additional funds for Ukraine had been fulfilled.

In the letter, the German Ministry of Finance agreed to additional expenses of € 2.547 billion in 2025. Given other expenses, including compensation from the European Peace Fund, Germany will allocate 3 billion euros, refines Reuters.
And from 2026 to 2029, the letter of Kukisa will be approved, obligations for military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 8.252 billion euros will be approved. Thus, the total increase in assistance will be more than 11 billion euros.
The Budget Committee is expected to approve of allocation of funds on Friday, March 21, provided that the upper house of the Bundesrat will approve reform on billions of investments.
Recall that on Tuesday, the Lower House of Parliament of Germany, the Bundestag, approved a radical change in fiscal rules aimed at increasing military costs and revitalizing economic growth.
