Details: According to the report of the SBU, according to the version of the investigation, Munger is suspected of having organized the infliction of severe bodily injuries on Kateryna Handzyuk, which led to her death, based on a previous conspiracy with Levin.
Munger and Levin are suspected of having committed the crimes provided for in Part 3 of Art. 27, Part 2 of Art. 28 and Part 2 of Art. 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. SBU investigators informed the suspects, their defenders, the victims and their representatives about the completion of the pre-trial investigation.

All parties have been granted access to investigation materials. After the defense party gets acquainted with the materials of the criminal proceedings, they will be referred to the court for consideration on the merits.

Prehistory:
- On July 31, 2018, a man poured acid on activist Kateryna Handziuk near the entrance in Kherson. She was admitted to the intensive care unit with severe burns, and in 3 months she died in the hospital after many operations.
- On June 6, 2019, after 5 accused in the commission of the crime pleaded guilty and agreed to a deal with the investigation, the court sentenced them.
- On March 16, Oleksiy Levin, one of the suspects in the organization of the crime, was extradited to Ukraine from Bulgaria. The court in Kyiv took him into custody.
- At the end of March, Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova removed her deputy Viktor Trepak from all cases investigated by the Security Service, including the attack on Kateryna Handzyuk. Trepak resigned.
- Father Handziuk called the actions of the new leadership of the prosecutor’s office in the investigation of this crime, including the removal of Trepak, a disgrace.
- At the same time, Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova assured that the investigation into the murder of activist Kateryna Handzyuk will not lose momentum and will be brought to an end.
