“Mr Kaufmann was staged, his defenders arrived, the detective Stanislav Broverman was present and, accordingly, the head of the SAP Mr. Klimenko. Such a conversation took place in the SAP. That is, at that time we saw with the detective the unrestrained desire to conclude this agreement with them,” Bronevitsky said.
It was reported that Kaufman and other persons involved in the case of the Odesa Airport have concluded an agreement with the SAP, committing to reimburse UAH 1 billion. As a result, the defendants were released from punishment with the establishment of a test period.
Bronevitsky stated that in the early 2025 there was also an association of two proceedings into one thing: about the seizure of the property of the airport and about the creation of a criminal organization (where the same businessmen featured).
“Accordingly, the issue of a further agreement concerns two criminal proceedings: the proceedings against the airport and proceedings on a criminal organization. The conclusion of this Agreement has enabled the persons to resolve their cases at one time,” – said Bronevytsky.
According to him, these were parallel investigations concerning different time periods: the case of the airport concerned the events of 2011, and the case of an organized criminal group was the events of 2021.
“Both, and there among the suspects were Mr. Kaufman and Mr. Borukhovich. Their actions, according to pre -trial investigation, were qualified in the second case under Article 255 of the Criminal Code – the creation of a criminal organization. I know that there was only one episode – for construction on a certain land in Odessa.
