The number of those killed as a result of Russian troops’ strikes on Zaporizhzhia on November 7 has increased to four, and the number of wounded to 18, reported the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.

“Rescuers pulled out two injured children and an injured woman from under the rubble. The victim lived on the third floor, after the collapse of the building she ended up on the second. There may still be people under the rubble. The police have information about persons who do not communicate,” he wrote in a telegram.

The State Service for Emergency Situations specified that Russian troops had carried out five airstrikes on the city.

“Partially destroyed 4-story residential building… Search and rescue operation is ongoing. At another address, the building of a medical institution was damaged by an explosive wave, and a car caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire. At two more addresses, 11 one-story residential buildings were damaged. Rescuers extinguished the fire,” the report said.

The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, noted that three children were among the victims: a four-month-old girl and boys aged one and 10 years.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, who published a photo of the sites of the strikes, noted that “every such Russian strike not only kills people and destroys lives, but also destroys the meaning of any words about the alleged lack of talks with Russia, some calls to the Kremlin “.

Earlier it was reported about one dead and ten wounded.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
