Details: He added that the director of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau, Semen Krivonos and the head of the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, expressed his dissatisfaction with the law that limits their activity by the Parliament.
“We have agreed that each of the executives will prepare their objections, dissatisfaction, which will pass to the President. This applies not only to specifically this law,” the Prosecutor General added.
Kravchenko said that it was a “general” complaint and proposals that may relate to both legislative initiatives and in general activities.
At the same time, the Prosecutor General does not consider that, due to changes to the Criminal Procedure Code on SAP and NABU, anti -corruption bodies will lose their independence. Kravchenko assured that all agencies will work as “one prosecutorial family” and he will not abuse the influence.
Asked whether he will follow the instructions of the President or the head of the OP to close criminal proceedings, Kravchenko replied that he would refuse. “They are not entitled to give me such illegal instructions,” the Prosecutor General said.
That preceded: On July 23, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy gathered all the heads of law enforcement and anti -corruption bodies. He assured that everyone agreed to work “exclusively constructively”.
During this meeting, NABU and SAP executives stressed that the legislative changes adopted on the eve of the day before, so it is necessary to return canceled guarantees. At the same time, they assured that they would continue to work on maintaining the professional capacity of both institutions.

- The SBU and OGP staff conducted approximately 80 searches in 19 employees of the National Bureau of Investigation in different regions of Ukraine on July 21.
- The next day, the Verkhovna Rada adopted Law No. 12414 as amended to the Criminal Procedure Code, according to which NABU and SAPs become dependent on the decisions of the Prosecutor General. On the evening of July 22, Zelensky signed the document.
