The meeting was also attended by volunteer Ihor Lachenkov, founder of the Dignitas charity fund Lyubov Shipovych, and human rights activist and co-founder of the NGO “Princip” Lyubov Galan.

Sternenko himself also announced that he joined the meeting in order to personally discuss all the problematic issues that he “has been voicing for a long time.”
“Donis brought up the most painful issues, such as the creation of an effective mechanism for changing the place of service (transfer), the need to evaluate the effectiveness of commanders in order to save people as much as possible, and structural and organizational issues. Separately, about the further development of unmanned systems, including for air defense,” the volunteer wrote .
The message of the General Staff says that the participants of the conversation agreed that such meetings are useful, given the possibility of a constructive discussion. “Such a practice will contribute to the leveling of the enemy’s destructive influence on the personnel and Ukrainian society in the future,” the General Staff noted.
What preceded:
- Sternenko stated that he was wanted because of his failure to appear at the Primorye RTCC and SP in Odesa Oblast on a summons, and connected this with his criticism of the army system and calls for reforms for the military. He explained that the summons was sent to his old address, where he has not lived for a long time, and that he entered the new address and all the latest data into the Reserve+ system. Moreover, in “Rezerv+” there is no information about the search for the activist.
- The Odesa TCC and SP replied that it was acting “exclusively within the framework of the legislation” and that Sternenko had not reported a number of important details, including the fact that he had already allegedly visited the Primorsky RTCC and SP, where he paid an administrative fine for violating the rules of military accounting. and that he was sent to the military medical commission.
- Sternenko accused the head of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky that he personally organized a TCC hunt for him, as he wants to take revenge for criticism of the military management system.
We will remind: Sternenko is a public activist, volunteer and one of the most popular Ukrainian-language bloggers. In his videos, which gain hundreds of thousands of views, he debunks the activities of Russian propagandists and Ukrainian collaborators.
Sternenko is involved in several criminal cases: kidnapping, rioting and beating of a policeman, drug trafficking and the death of the attacker. He denies guilt in all cases.
In May 2021, the Odesa Court of Appeal overturned the conviction for robbery in the case against Sternenko and Ruslan Demchuk on charges of kidnapping and torturing local deputy Serhii Shcherbych in the spring of 2015, but Sternenko received a suspended sentence under the weapons charge.
In December 2023, the court closed the case against Sternenko in connection with the expiration of the terms of prosecution for the 2018 event. Then three attacks were made on Serhiy Sternenko. During the second attack, Serhiy detained the attacker. During the third, Serhiy was attacked by two professional athletes. He wounded his attackers, one of whom died immediately on the spot.
