“The Law on Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine I received does not make amendments to which public discussion has been underway. I do not change my opinion and intend to fulfill my obligations. I think that (help) 800+ should only receive those Ukrainians who are challenging to work in Poland, ”he stressed.

The new version of the Law on Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine, Verotsky, also provides for the continuation of temporary protection provided to the citizens of Ukraine who flee from the war until March 4, 2026.

“I believe that we must achieve some social justice here. The Poles in our country should be at least equal with our guests from Ukraine. For me this is a fundamental issue, so I have not signed the law on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in this form,” – quotes the explanation of Navrotsky Interia.

At the same time, he added that he suggested his project on this issue.

“I urge the government and all parties in Parliament to work hard on the form of this law within two weeks,” he said.

Recall:

  • Earlier, Navrotsky called on the Seimas to ban the Bandera Flag in Poland after the incidents that occurred during the concert of the Belarusian rapper in Warsaw.
