The Government has decided to apply to the commission to select the director Bab with a proposal to submit no more than two candidates that will meet the security criteria.
“At the next meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine considered the submission of the commission to select the Director of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine regarding the appointment of the Bab Director,” the statement said.
“The government has also examined additional materials provided in particular by the Security Service of Ukraine concerning national security issues and containing appropriate security assessments,” the post stated.
It is reported that according to the results of comprehensive consideration of the submitted materials and taking into account the security component, the members of the government “unanimously made the decision” to apply to the commission from the selection of director of the Beb “with a proposal to submit no more than two candidates that will meet all the established requirements, including security criteria.”
This decision fully complies with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On the Bureau of Economic Security” and ensures the proper adherence to the appointment of the Bab leadership, the government assures.
