Details: It is reported that the main task of the new head is to ensure the proper financing of Ukrainian culture in war. Priorities include auditing the needs of the industry, activating dialogue with donors and finding additional resources. The Cabinet notes that in these areas Berezhna has already demonstrated the performance in the Ministry of Economy.
Sviridenko notes that Berezhna has the experience of reforms, work in cultural diplomacy and international partnership. In particular, it is the commissioner of Ukraine at Expo-2025 in Japan.
The government also counts on the cohesive work of the ministry team, emphasizing the importance of maintaining key deputies – Halyna Grigorenko, Anastasia Bondar and other specialists.
According to the Prime Minister, the Cabinet plans to distinguish information policy and strategic communications in a separate direction with a clear mandate and resources.

- On July 14, 2025, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that he suggested the First Viceremier-Minister-Ministers of Economy Yulia Sviridenko to head the government in which then Prime Minister Denis Shmigal should hold the post of Minister of Defense.

The Ministry is planning to separate strategic communications and information policy, passing them to one of the agencies subordinate directly to the Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.
