Details: The new composition of the European Commission was approved by 370 “yes” votes. 282 voted against and 36 abstained. The new European Commission will start work on December 1.

- Last week, it became unofficially known that the European Parliament agreed to approve all seven candidates for positions in the new European Commission that have not yet been approved, putting an end to the weeks-long impasse among political factions.
