“I can confirm that a significant change is expected in January – we will start delivering tens of thousands of drones through the coalition of maritime and unmanned capabilities that the United Kingdom is leading together with our partners Norway and Latvia,” Pollard said.

The deputy minister did not provide additional details on this matter.

It will be recalled that in June, Britain and Latvia, on behalf of the “drone coalition”, announced a tender for the supply of FPV unmanned aerial vehicles to Ukraine in the amount of 352,000 euros.

In July, the member countries of the “drone coalition” signed a Memorandum of Understanding, within which a joint fund of 45 million euros was created.

In November, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umyerov, announced that this year the countries of the “drone coalition” will allocate 1.8 billion euros to support the defense forces of Ukraine.
