During the pre -trial investigation, it was found that the director of LLC “Football Academy of Benfica Ukraine” allowed gross violations of the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine on labor protection, which caused the death of the child. This fact confirmed the conclusions of the forensic examinations.
The father of the dead boy Vyacheslav Goncharuk confirmed “UP. Life”, which is about Maria Krivopyshin.
On September 1, she was informed of suspicion under Article 271 (2) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – a violation of labor protection requirements, which caused the death of a person.
The Prosecutor General’s Office noted that the director is abroad, so they are currently taking measures to declare it on the international wanted list and initiate the extradition procedure to Ukraine.
They also added that the case is in the final stage of the study of the evidence. The court appointed six court sessions for the next two months, which should speed up the decision.
Recall Maria Krivopishin – Director of the Ukrainian Branch of the Portuguese Academy of Benfica Club. She is the daughter of the former head of the Southwestern Railway Alexei Kryvopyshyn, who in 2019 was reported suspected of stealing more than UAH 50 million.
The Olimpic Village hotel and health complex, on the territory of which the Academy is located, was also part of the corruption scheme.

The parents of the dead boy told “UP. Life” that the camp management ignored their numerous calls on the day Vanya drowned. They learned about the death of the child later from police.
Until recently, only one criminal proceedings have come to court – against the coach. Whereas the case against officials “hanged” on examination.
The parents of the dead boy declared a delay in the trial of Vani’s death. In the first half of 2025, only one meeting took place. Three more assigned.
After publishing the material about the case on “UP. Life”, two meetings have been held. However, according to the parents and the family lawyer, the indictments were not in full.
August 29 in the case replaced a group of prosecutorswhich contributed to the delay of the trial. At the same time, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko assured that he had taken her for personal control.
