Parliamentarians also supported the Law No. 13173 on the continuation of mobilization until August 6. 346 people’s deputies voted in favor of this decision, 1 against and 1 refrained.
That preceded:
- President Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada trees on approval of decrees on extension of the duration of the martial law and the term of general mobilization.
- The laws propose to extend the term of martial law in Ukraine and general mobilization for another 90 days.
- It will be the 15th VOC VR for the continuation of martial law and mobilization since the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Russia.
- On the eve of voting, the People’s Deputy from “European Solidarity” Alexei Goncharenko in social networks stated that on Wednesday he would vote against the continuation of mobilization and martial law. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk responded sharply.
