The Security Service of Ukraine announces the detention of two more agents of the Russian special services, who were adjusting Russian fire in the Poltava and Sumy regions.

As the press service of the agency reports in a telegram, they installed hidden video cameras near “required objects” – this allowed the Russian troops to monitor the consequences of “arrivals” online, as well as to correct repeated or plan new attacks.

The main targets, as reported, were military airfields of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thermal power plants and energy-generating enterprises.

According to the case materials, first the agents found the “necessary” objects, and then they installed and disguised mobile phones in front of them, which carried out online broadcasting, and for uninterrupted operation of the gadgets for a long time, external batteries were connected to them.

Counterintelligence of the SBU gradually documented the subversive activities of the agents and detained them when they installed a spy device near a military facility.

According to the investigation, both involved were recruited by the Russian Federation in the summer of this year, when they were looking for quick earnings on Telegram channels.

Detainees were informed of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).

Law enforcement officers regularly report the arrests in various regions of Ukraine of those suspected of collaborationism, subversive activities to the detriment of Ukraine, and treason.
