“We are working on finding out the extent of the damage and eliminating the consequences,” Vyacheslav Negoda, the head of Ternopil OVA, wrote on Facebook on the night of November 26.
In the morning, the mayor of Ternopil, Serhiy Nadal, noted: “Energy companies are gradually restoring the city’s electricity supply. Let’s hope that it will happen as soon as possible.”
He also informed that trolleybuses in Ternopil will not run temporarily, buses will replace them.
“Water supply: KP “Ternopilvodokanal” is gradually restoring centralized water supply. Maybe there will be low pressure. Let’s start the generators. Heat supply: most of the city’s boiler houses are functioning, if necessary, their work will also be supported by generators. Education: schools and kindergartens will operate as usual. Those who do not have a centralized power supply will work from generators,” Nadal said.
According to the mayor, heating stations are resuming operation in Ternopil.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
