On January 19, Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga held the last conversation with United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken during his tenure in this position.

“In the farewell call, I thanked Blinken for his decisive role at a turning point in history, which helped to ensure the survival of Ukraine as an independent, free and European nation,” said the head of the Foreign Ministry.

He added that Ukraine values ​​the strategic partnership with the United States and relies on the “constant support” of the new administration.

State Department spokesman Matthew Miller also reported on the conversation between Sybiga and Blinken, during which the Secretary of State thanked his Ukrainian colleague for “personal partnership and strengthening bilateral relations between the United States and Ukraine.”
